Armando Cantu, CARDBoard Project – 2025 Finalist

Working with partners such as AT&T and T-Mobile, the nonprofit provided devices, connectivity, and digital fluency to 1,832 clients in the past year—75 percent of whom are enrolled in government assistance programs and 63 percent of whom reported little or no digital skills. The CARDBoard Project equips underserved communities with technology through loans, educational programs, and resource centers. Cantu’s work has earned multiple honors, including the 2025 Trusted World Innovation Award and an appointment as Texas State Lead for the National Skills Summit.
